No. We understand there are a lot of oversees and nationwide call-center type operations around at the moment who charge a call out fee, but we're not one of them and never will be.

We are increasingly hearing stories of customers who come across seemingly legitimate plumbing companies online, and were initially quoted £50 or £60 for a call-out, only to have the engineer arrive, state they can't fix the problem, and then leave them with a bill of hundreds of pounds. These customers are often pressured to make a payment to an overseas bank account, despite little or no work being done.

We don't charge a call out fee, for travel time getting to your property, or parking up to £5. We only charge for the time we spend on site, and any parts we use.

Yes. For your peace of mind, most of our workmanship comes with a 12 month guarantee, and we'll always let you know if this isn't the case, for example, drainage blockages.

We want our tradespeople to do great work that you'll love – that's our top priority. We aim for your 100% satisfaction every time, but we know there could be some rare instances where things don't go as planned. If that happens, we'll be there to fix it up at no extra cost to you.

Because of the unique nature of certain jobs or fixes, like dealing with drain blockages, we can't offer a 12-month labor guarantee for those. You'll see this noted on your invoice, so it's clear. When we get you materials and parts, they usually come with a warranty from the manufacturer. So, if anything goes wrong with these items, you're covered by the manufacturer's warranty, not by us. These warranties usually mean you can get a replacement or repair if something's wrong with the product within a certain time, usually about 12 months, but it can vary. These guarantees are legally binding, and the info on how to make a claim should be easy to find when you buy the product, like on the packaging, receipt, or wherever you got it. And just so you know, you still have your regular rights as a customer, and those should be explained in the warranty too.

Yes. We are fully insured, and all of our engineers are fully qualified and, for jobs involving gas, are Gas Safe registered.
